About Us
I am from an intrepid, outdoorsy family. Every chapter of my life includes spending time in nature. From boating, lake time, camping, traveling, to scuba-diving, rafting, sailing, portaging, back-country expeditions and beyond...I have always been drawn to the natural world. Over the last few years, I began to study the healing properties of plants. The more I studied, the more I began to see the intelligent design behind the miracle works of plants. It became undeniable that nature was not formed by some cosmic chance, rather, there is supreme intelligence, intention and love behind all of nature. My eyes then opened to the fact that nature IS created, and there is in fact a Creator. Moreover, this Creator is pure Holiness, pure love. He first showed Himself to me through botanical medicine, and every single day I learn something new about the glory and love of God. He knew the hardships we would face in this fallen world and He gave us healing plants for every ailment. "Thy leaves for medicine". What a truly beautiful and perfect act of mercy. So, we (my husband and I) dedicate this business to Him. We pray that every product we make will be a blessing for you, and that you will feel the glory and love of our Creator.
I walked the first part of my life silent to the miracle workings of God. But even while I was silent, all of creation, the very stones, cried out to the glory of the Almighty God. I now have ears to hear all of nature rejoice. And it is the loveliest sound.
Luke 19:37-40
As he was drawing near—already on the way down the Mount of Olives—the whole multitude of his disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works that they had seen, saying, “Blessed is he King who comes in the name of the Lord! Peace in heaven and glory in the highest!” And some of the Pharisees in the crowd said to him, “Teacher, rebuke your disciples.” He answered, “I tell you, if these were silent, the very stones would cry out."
Here at The Stones Cry Out, we study the life-giving properties of plants and make all-natural products with the prayer that you will be brought good-health and wellbeing. All healing is to the glory of God.
Additionally, we create nature-based art, go rock-hounding for gems, make naturally dyed clothing and dive into learning about/providing you with whatever other nature-y thing the Spirit leads us to. Stay tuned for new products!
